My love for Boxers started when I was 10 years
old and my closest friend brought home Socks, a beautiful fawn male Boxer,
who was our companion for many years. When my son was a junior in college,
he asked me for a non-traditional birthday gift, a Boxer, and so into our
lives came Shaina, a wonderful brindle girl. Within two years of buying
Shaina, I decided that it was time for a Boxer to come live with my Boston
Terriers and my Lab, Teddi. Teddi needed a friend to exercise with, and
Ahwee was her best buddy. Ahwee gave birth to 9 puppies before she passed
over the Rainbow Bridge, of whom 3 stayed with me - Billy Boy (a Champion
and Best of Breed dog), Sweetie Pie (a Champion and my best friend), and
Bitzie (the dam of Lilly, Louie and Edlie, plus 4 other dogs). Louie has
now become a Champion and two of Bitzie's boys are currently being shown
in conformation. Bitzie has passed over the Rainbow Bridge, but will always
be in my heart. As a Boxer breeder, my breeding program has always aimed
to have the healthiest puppies that I can breed and own.
