I have lived with Boston Terriers my entire life.
My great uncle Sam Matteson was a Boston Terrier breeder and judge. When
Uncle Sam judged the American Boxer Club National Specialty, I was exposed
to the world of conformation dog shows for the first time. Each time that
Uncle Sam would judge a dog show in New York, my Mother would take me to
see the shows. Uncle Sam ensured that every member of my family always
had a Boston Terrier in each of our households. I had always dreamed of
showing and breeding my own dogs as I was growing up. I finally attained
my dream when my Mima came into my life. I shall always be eternally grateful
to Anna Benedetto for entrusting Mima to my care, and for guiding me in
my breeding program and in conformation. Although Uncle Sam and Anna have
crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, they shall always be in my heart, and
their guidance will continue to help me be as good a breeder of Boston
Terriers as possible.
